Certification

Through Passive House Certification one can be sure that the stringent quality requirements of the Passive House Standard have been achieved. Passive House Institute Passive House Certification is not only available for buildings, but also for building components and professionals.

Certified Passive House Designers, Consultants and Tradesperson have demonstrated, either through work on a real Passive House or by way of rigorous examination, the necessary Passive House knowledge to ensure Passive House quality in their area of expertise throughout the planning and/or execution of Passive House and EnerPHit projects. Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Components facilitate the planning and energetic performance of buildings. The Certified Passive House and Certified EnerPHit designations, attained only after the Passive House Institute or an Institute accredited Building Certifier has meticulously checked a building’s design, are seals of quality for the whole building.
