Python / Django / C ++ developer (m / f / d)
The Passive House Institute is a research institute in the field of highly efficient energy use in buildings. It was founded in 1996 by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Feist and has been the leading international institution for Passive House research ever since. The scientific work is supplemented by consulting, qualification, certification and quality control, conducting scientific conferences, the development of planning tools and advocacy work.
To support our IT team at the Institute’s headquarters in Darmstadt / Germany, we are looking for a Python / Django / C ++ Developer that is well equipped to handle a variety of tasks:
Your tasks:
- Extension and support of databases and interfaces
- Development of data-intensive backend applications with Python and PostgreSQL
- Programming of tools in C ++
- Development of interactive web applications with Django
- Extension of existing websites with new modules and layouts
What to bring with you:
- IT affinity
- Experience with Python / Django
- Experience with C ++
- Experience with Git
- Basic German at minimum
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Careful way of working
